Sceptre Quartz
Sceptre quartz crystals consist of two crystals grown on top of each other. On the tip of a thinner crystal a thicker one has grown in the same orientation. Similarly, a thinner crystal in the same orientation may have grown on top of a thicker crystal. Both crystals grew at different times and thus represent two generations. Sceptre quartz crystals are often also associated with a fenestration (formation see fensterquartz).
